Winter warning: Products that can clear a sidewalk of ice can be toxic to your puppy. And since puppies lick their pads to clean them, wipe those paws thoroughly after a walk outside on the sidewalk, street or parking lot. Use pet, child, and environment friendly ice melt around your home.
Great tip! Pups paws should be wiped down and a good balm helps protect their little paws too!

ReplyDeleteHey thanks for sharing this post. I was searching for articles to buy shoes for dogs and i came across your post. Whenever it rains Joss (my lab) really hates to step out of the house. The only thing that worries me is whether he will wear them as he usually avoids everything that covers his fur. So I am still confused about going ahead and buying one.
